SSP 50th Anniversary Video Submissions Instructions

The Security Studies Program is approaching its 50th anniversary, with a day-long celebration on June 6 at MIT Media Lab. With this, we are making a video to commemorate this historic event and we are asking you, the SSP community, to contribute testimonials for the video.

 

Submitting a testimonial is simple:

  1. Use your smartphone or computer to record a short video reflecting on your thoughts about SSP.
    1. If using your phone, please record your video horizontally/landscape style.
    2. Try to use a non-distracting background.
  2. Give a brief introduction, stating your name and affiliation with SSP, and give your current position and title.
    1. Example “Hi, I’m Lorne Michaels, SSP PhD ‘14. I’m now a professor of political science at George Washington University.
  3. Reflect on one or more of the following the following questions:
    1. Share a favorite memory of SSP.
    2. How has SSP impacted your career?
    3. What advice would you like to share to current SSP students, fellows, or those just starting their careers?
