SSP Wednesday Seminar May 6th with Bridget Coggins
Bridget Coggins

Bridget Coggins (Visiting Scholar at the Center for Strategic Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy 2019-2020 and Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara) presented “Domestic Anarchy in a World of States" at a virtual SSP Wednesday Seminar on May 6th.

This week, faculty, students and staff gathered virtually at noon to listen to Bridget Coggins (Visiting Scholar at the Center for Strategic Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy 2019-2020 and Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara) discuss “Domestic Anarchy in a World of States.” Coggins spoke about the shift from international threats traditionally emerging from failed states to non-traditional threats by non-state actors proliferating with the rise of globalization, and discussed the veracity of both claims. A great Q&A with the audience followed.

This week also marked the end of our 2019-2020 Wednesday Seminar Series! We look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall. Please visit our Wednesday Seminars page in towards the end of summer for more on our 2020-2021 series, or sign-up here to join our mailing list for notifications.
