Francis Gavin, Giovanni Agnelli Distinguished Professor and the Director of the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs. Gavin is the author of celebrated books on global affairs, including Gold, Dollars, and Power: The Politics of International Monetary Relations, 1958-1971 (2004), and Nuclear Statecraft: History and Strategy in America’s Atomic Age (2012). From 2005 to 2010, he led The Next Generation Project: US Global Policy and the Future of International Institutions at The American Assembly. Gavin is a fellow at the Nobel Institute, the Center for a New American Security, and other research institutes.
