Neta Crawford Wins 2024 Grawemeyer World Order Prize

SSP Alum Neta Crawford, an international relations professor at the University of Oxford in England, received the prize for the ideas in her book “The Pentagon, Climate Change and War: Charting the Rise and Fall of Military Emissions” published by MIT Press in 2022.

The U.S. military must reduce its dependence on fossil fuels so the world can effectively address climate change, says the winner of the 2024 University of Louisville Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order.
