Our Wednesday Seminars Series for spring returned virtually this week with a great talk from former U.S. National Intelligence Officer for North Korea and Atlantic Council Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security’s Asia Security Initiative Senior Fellow, Markus Garlauskas. Garlauskas discussed strategic methodologies for working with North Korea, as well as his own impressions of the country’s issues based off his decades of government service. The talk was streamed live on MIT SSP’s YouTube channel, and a fantastic Q&A with the audience followed.

The next Wednesday Seminar (to be held on 3/3), features Jim Golby, senior fellow at the Clements Center for National Security at the University of Texas at Austin, co-host of the “Thank You For Your Service” podcast (produced by the Center for Strategic and International Studies), and Adjunct Senior Fellow in the Military, Veterans, and Society Program at the Center for a New American Security. Golby will present: “Thanks For Your Service: The Causes and Consequences of Public Confidence in the U.S. Military.”
