This week, faculty, students and staff gathered at noon to listen to Jonathan Shimshoni (Visiting Fellow and Research Affiliate, MIT Security Studies Program) discuss “The Strategic Challenge of Society-centric Warfare.” Shimshoni spoke about the ways in which governments and non-state actors used warfare targeting various aspects of society to help their campaigns. A great Q&A with the audience followed.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and, in alignment with M.I.T.’s response plan, all remaining Wednesday Seminars will be held online using Zoom.
