Seyom Brown is a Senior Adjunct Fellow at the American Security Project in Washington, DC. Dr. Brown's expertise lies in international relations and U.S. foreign policy. His research and writing focuses on the U.S. policy implications of changing patterns in world politics. His most recent book, co-authored and co-edited with General Robert Scales (Ret.), US Policy in Afghanistan and Iraq: Lessons and Legacies, was published by Lynne Rienner in 2012; and the new edition of his The Faces of Power [now subtitled: Constancy and Change in U.S. Foreign Policy from Truman to Obama ] was published in February 2015.
